365 Project 2010. Here it is, the set for the month of June. Not much to say really — it’s just a bunch of pictures I took. Still doing it though and I’m proud of that. Just five months left of 2010!
Oh, and I have changed the way the pictures are displayed. I have thrown out the FancyFlickr plugin that made the small thumbnails and replaced it with the slideshow code from Flickr. I think this method is much better and it makes the blog load a little faster.

FancyFlickr Dev Help ‹ Josh Betz added these words on Aug 06 10 at 11:47 pmI’m glad you were using my plugin and sad to see you go. I don’t really blame you though at this point. For a while now I’ve been wanting to make it more efficient, but I’m not really a php developer yet. I’m learning, but I’m not even close to where I’d like to be. I’m got a public request out for help on FancyFlickr development to try to fix the issues and add some features that I’ve been dreaming about since the beginning. Keep checking in, hopefully we’ll get to an acceptable point soon. And if you know anyone that can help, point them my way.
Also, way to go on the project365. I’ve wanted to do this for the past couple of years. I think 2011 is my year though.
Hi Josh! Man, the WordPress community is amazing. I love to interact with people who do all the stuff that visitors and “basic” users never see or even realize is there. I liked FancyFlickr, and I still do — it’s just that the Flickr slide show code was easier to work with and since i started using 560 px pictures on the blog the slide show integrates seamlessly with the overall design. I actually spent a lot of time in the plugin editor in the WP back-end looking for a way to “un-rorate” the thumbs your plugin generated. That was the only thing I didn’t like about FancyFlickr. I still have your plugin installed and activated and I’m looking forward to your future version (with the option to have “straight” thumbs!). Go ahead with a 365 Project on your own 2011! Just set an alarm on your phone to go off at a certain time every day to remind you of taking a photograph. That’s my one and only advice! Cheers
