A Really Nice Skateboarding Short
“For Skateboarding and the City” by Nathan Factor Sacharow. I think this is the glossiest skate vid I’ve ever seen. I mentioned (in an older post) that I never was much of a skater — BMX was my activity of choice. This means that I really can’t judge on the difficulty of the tricks performed in this vid, but it’s nicely shot and well made — that’s why I’m posting it.
Short (really short) info:
Music: “The Man with the Movie Camera” by The Cinematic Orchestra (two versions of the track used)
Cameras: HVX200a Canon 60d

Mark Ronson & The Business INTL – Bang Bang Bang
There’s a slight chance I’ve already posted this vid about a year ago but the thing is, I recently realized it was taken down from YouTube so that particular post might be broken. Lo and behold the vid popped up on Vimeo.com the other day and I would like to post it, if that’s OK with you. Good video and great track — MNDR is in it too, she’s the girls with the 80′s glasses.

On My Way Home

I took this pic through the subway window, it’s of the Old Town in Stockholm. I’ve taken a few more like this one but this is by far the best one yet. Taken with Hipstamatic. Thank you.
Found On Vimeo – People Doing Stuff
I can really relate to the last video about typesetting. That was the first thing we did at graphic design school back in the day (early 90′s). We did our own business cards. I guess that skill it pretty much obsolete now — and that’s why it’s cool.
Oak Candle Holders Almost Done

I though I should post just one more pic of the oak candle holders when they are a work in progress. I’m doing five of them and there’s just a bit more drilling and then finishing with the usual (couple of) coats of turpentine and linseed oil. When they’re done I’d like to do another batch of those heavy duty cuttingboards I did a while back, it’s just a matter of finding the right material in the wood shop. If that fails I’ll just go and buy a chainsaw and find a damn tree myself.
