More music! This time it’s Donkeyboy from the land of the mighty fjords (Norway).
‘Ambitions’ is a great song, I heard it on the radio this morning and I’ve been listening to it all day (and night). Great video too. Their full length debut was released last month on October 19:th. I have to check out the rest of the tracks on the album, I have no clue what they sound like — they might suck — but I really hope they don’t. Hmm, I guess I have to update this post when I have the answer.
UPDATE: OK, I had a serious listen to the debut album ‘Caught In A Life’ and it’s really, really good. I was actually amazed by almost all of the ten tracks, the only one I didn’t like was the title track. The sound is, how should I put it — timeless and ‘Nordic’. It’s like a pop soup with flavors from A-Ha (Norway), Secret Service (Sweden), The Crash (Finland) and Mew (Denmark). Yup, sums it up pretty good. I’m happy.
