Holy sh!t this is good stuff. I really like the ABBA-esque twist and it’s got that Max Martin ‘lift’ at the end of the chorus pushing it even further (he’s not involved in this). This release makes it even harder to wait for the full debut in February. I love that she incorporated the fact that she’s often mistaken for Shakira and Catherine Zeta-Jones in the lyrics. The video is also pretty smart marketing, opening doors to the U.S. market. Pretty good move, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good*.
